Maarten Paes will thus be stepping in as Pasveer’s successor at Ajax. According to our sources, the 27-year-old goalkeeper will cost the record champions approximately €1.2 million. During the recent summer transfer window, Feyenoord also considered Paes while he was in the United States, but he sustained an injury at that time. The Rotterdam club revisited the possibility this winter but ultimately decided against pursuing him.
