Remko Pasveer Returns to Heracles AlmeloRemko Pasveer Returns to Heracles Almelo

omidbasir- Remko Pasveer is making a notable return to familiar territory. The 42-year-old goalkeeper has departed from Ajax to rejoin his former club, Heracles Almelo. The seasoned shot-stopper is tasked with ensuring that Heracles remains in the Eredivisie.

Heracles Almelo is the club where Pasveer has played the most matches in his career, with a total of 150 appearances from 2006 to 2010. After stints at PSV and Vitesse, he moved to Ajax in the summer of 2021, where he established himself as a primary choice goalkeeper, participating in 100 matches over several seasons.

Pasveer is enthusiastic about his return to Heracles. He stated, “Whenever I join a new team, I like to set personal goals. I arrived at Ajax at a relatively later stage of my career, and my aim there was to reach 100 official matches, which I accomplished. Now that I am back at Heracles Almelo, I do not have a guarantee of playing time; I will have to earn my position.” This sentiment was shared on the official Heracles website.
