PSV Retains Key Players as Transfer Window ClosesPSV Retains Key Players as Transfer Window Closes

As the winter transfer window draws to a close, PSV seems unlikely to lose any key players. It increasingly appears that both Ricardo Pepi and Ivan Perisic will remain in Eindhoven.

Recent reports from Voetbal International, just two days before the crucial match against Feyenoord, indicate that a striker would be brought in if Pepi were sold to Fulham. However, that transfer is currently stalled. The London club’s offer is not far off from what PSV is asking, but they are at an impasse over the proposed payment terms.

PSV’s head coach, Peter Bosz, expressed optimism on Friday afternoon, stating that technical director Earnest Stewart keeps him updated on the situation. “However, I do not have control over these matters. I can express my desires, but those are not binding. Therefore, it is not particularly useful. I am hopeful that everyone will stay, as that is my preference. In football, guarantees are often hard to come by,” the coach explained.
