Hamburg has officially confirmed the loan of Emir Sahiti to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Additionally, two more arrivals at HSV are expected to be announced shortly. Reliable sources indicate that Albert Grønbaek and Almugera Kabar will soon be unveiled by the Bundesliga club. Notably, Sahiti’s loan agreement includes a purchase option for the €1.5 million-valued forward.

“Emir hasn’t received the playing time he wanted this season, so a loan is a sensible solution for all parties involved,” stated Claus Costa, HSV’s sporting director, in a club announcement. “Emir is well-liked among his teammates and has maintained an exemplary attitude despite his current sporting situation. He played a crucial role in our promotion to the Bundesliga. We wish him the best of luck during his time in Israel and will be monitoring his progress closely throughout the loan period.”

In his own statement, Sahiti expressed gratitude for his time at HSV. “I have greatly appreciated my time at HSV,” he remarked. “Last season, especially with our promotion, was a highlight for me. Now, I look forward to this new opportunity at Maccabi Tel Aviv. I wish HSV all the best for the remainder of the season and hope the club can maintain its Bundesliga status.”

Sport Bild reports that Kabar’s long-awaited transfer to HSV will also take the form of a loan with a purchase option. At this time, there has been no explanation for the delay in Grønbaek’s signing, and there are no indications of any issues with the Danish international’s medical examination.
