Wesley Gassova Ribeiro Excited to Join Real Sociedad in LaLiga

Wesley Gassova Ribeiro has expressed his excitement about joining LaLiga through Real Sociedad, following the official announcement of his new contract with the club this morning. The Brazilian forward, who will wear the number 22 jersey recently vacated by Mikel Goti, arrives in San Sebastián on loan from Al-Nassr, with an option for a permanent transfer set at approximately 12 million euros at the end of the season.

After completing his medical examination and signing his contract with Real Sociedad, Wesley conveyed his happiness at becoming a new member of the team. “I am very happy and content; my family is also thrilled about joining such a great club like Real. I thank God for the opportunity to play in LaLiga. I hope to contribute with goals and victories to help the team achieve its objectives.”

The São Paulo native, who has not stopped smiling since his arrival in San Sebastián, described his playing style. “I am a player who enjoys individual confrontations, one-on-one situations, and attacking defenders. I can play on both wings, right and left. I promise to give my all on the field, and I will do so with joy.”

Wesley acknowledges that he is joining a Real Sociedad side in excellent form. “We have had several consecutive victories. I know the goals are to go far in the Copa del Rey and to secure a place in Europe. We are improving, and I hope to help the team achieve victories to reach those goals.”
