Claudio Giráldez has named Radu in the 24-man squad for the upcoming match against Barcelona at Balaídos this Sunday. The goalkeeper showed promising signs during Saturday’s training session and is not ruled out for participation in the match. Radu, who is currently dealing with a sprain in his right thumb, missed the game last Thursday against Dinamo in Zagreb. Should he be selected to play, he would need to travel with the Romanian national team for two matches during this international window. If the coaching staff decides against risking his participation, Iván Villar is set to take over the goalkeeping duties. In contrast, Carlos Domínguez has been ruled out at the last minute due to a minor ankle sprain sustained during Thursday’s Europa League clash. Alongside Domínguez’s absence, the team is also missing other injured players, including Williot Swedberg, Javi Rueda, and Hugo Álvarez. Consequently, the coach has called up all available players, including Aidoo and Cervi, who have had limited participation this season.
