PSV Eindhoven has reportedly made an offer for Troy Parrott during this winter transfer window, according to Pete O’Rourke from Football Insider. The club views the AZ striker as a potential successor to Ricardo Pepi, although this claim has been refuted by Mounir Boualin from SoccerNews.

O’Rourke suggests that PSV attempted to secure Parrott from Alkmaar as a strategic move to replace Pepi, who is currently attracting interest from Fulham. However, AZ has rejected this alleged offer, prompting PSV to retain Pepi for now. The Eindhoven club has expressed that they would only consider selling the American striker if a suitable replacement could be acquired.

It appears that PSV is not actively seeking a replacement for Pepi this winter, as they are unwilling to part ways with the talented forward. Fulham submitted a final offer of €37 million for Pepi, but this was also declined. PSV is not in a position to procure a viable replacement in the short term, suggesting that Pepi is likely to complete the season with the club.
