Bryan Zaragoza Transfers to Roma Ending Celta Vigo TenureBryan Zaragoza Transfers to Roma Ending Celta Vigo Tenure

As anticipated since the weekend, Bryan Zaragoza’s tenure at Celta Vigo has officially come to an end. The forward has signed with AS Roma, effectively terminating his loan from Bayern Munich. In light of this transfer, the Galician club will receive a financial compensation.

It was last Friday when the player and Celta officials were made aware of the opportunity to move to Italy, prompting Zaragoza to convey his intentions to Claudio Giráldez regarding the change of teams.

Zaragoza’s time at Celta was marked by inconsistency; however, he had started to showcase his best form in recent weeks. After six months with the team, he departs having participated in 26 matches, accumulating 1,420 minutes on the pitch, scoring two goals, and providing four assists.

Despite being brought in with high expectations, he did not become the standout player the club had hoped for. Consequently, Celta Vigo had already decided against exercising their option to purchase him in the summer due to the considerable financial obligation it would entail. To avoid triggering this purchase condition, Zaragoza saw limited playing time in the final stretch of the season.

The Vigo club issued an official statement thanking Zaragoza for his contributions during his time at Celta and wished him the best for his future endeavors.
