Felix Passlack s Transfer to Hibs Officially ConfirmedFelix Passlack s Transfer to Hibs Officially Confirmed

Felix Passlack’s permanent transfer to Hibernian has been officially confirmed, though the financial details of the agreement remain undisclosed. This marks the first sale in Passlack’s career, following a professional journey that included various loans and free transfers. Most recently, he spent a season on loan at Norwich City, where he made only one appearance in the EFL Championship.

In a statement, Simon Zoller, former Bochum striker and current club licensing director, praised Passlack’s dedication, stating, “Felix Passlack has honestly earned his place in the squad over the years and has always put himself at the service of the team. He has taken on responsibility, regardless of his role, in training and on matchdays. That is one of the reasons why we have now agreed to his request for a change.”

Zoller further emphasized the respectful nature of the discussions regarding Passlack’s transfer, noting, “There were clear words on equal terms, without pressure and without any distractions. That speaks for Felix’s character and his understanding of the processes in professional football.”

David Gray, head coach of Hibs, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, saying, “We are very pleased to welcome a player of Felix’s quality and experience to our club. Felix is a tenacious, attacking player who can be utilized all over the right side. He has an excellent track record, having played at a very high level, and will be a strong addition to the squad.”

Reflecting on his time at VfL Bochum, Passlack stated, “It was a great pleasure to play for VfL Bochum. Playing in front of the fans at the Ruhrstadion and giving my all on the pitch was something special.”
