RCD Mallorca Signs Zito Luvumbo on Loan from Cagliari

Angolan forward Zito Luvumbo has joined RCD Mallorca as the second and final reinforcement of the transfer window, arriving on loan from Italian club Cagliari.

Luvumbo has seen limited action during the first half of the season, making only 12 appearances totalling 300 minutes in Serie A, in addition to participating in two Italian Cup matches.

In the previous season, he played a more significant role for the Italian side, contributing two goals and two assists, which the Mallorca club hopes he can replicate and improve upon during his time on the island.

Consequently, the island team concludes the transfer window with Luvumbo’s acquisition, alongside that of Justin Kalumba, who head coach Jagoba Arrasate has described as a player for the “future” rather than the “present.”
