Celta Vigo s January Transfers Strategic Moves and Player AdjustmentsCelta Vigo s January Transfers Strategic Moves and Player Adjustments

On Monday evening, Celta Vigo executed several player transactions consistent with their ongoing strategy for January. The club confirmed the departure of Bryan Zaragoza, welcomed Matías Vecino, and announced the signing of Álvaro Núñez at 23:55.

In the preceding 30 days, the team also saw the exits of Fran Beltrán and Damián, alongside the desired loan return of Fer López to the club. Under the leadership of Marco Garcés, the football management has managed to avoid weakening the squad, with the potential to enhance it, aligning with Claudio Giráldez’s requests.

In addition to these six movements, the club finalized the permanent transfers of two players, Luca de la Torre and Tadeo Allende, who were no longer part of the roster. Furthermore, Unai Núñez ended his loan spell at Verona to join Valencia on another loan arrangement.

Matías Vecino, who is set to be presented on Tuesday, expressed his enthusiasm about joining the Celta project: “I have always wanted to experience playing outside of Italy’s Serie A, but various factors had previously hindered that opportunity. When the chance to join Celta arose, I did not hesitate. I aim to contribute my experience, having played many years in European competitions, and to assist the team in achieving success.”
