Feyenoord analyst Martijn Krabbendam anticipates that if any changes occur, they are more likely to affect a staff member rather than the head coach himself.

During the ESPN program “Voetbalpraat,” Krabbendam noted that the club’s management convened following the disheartening 3-0 defeat against PSV. “There have certainly been discussions within Feyenoord after the match against PSV,” he stated. However, he believes these discussions will not lead to immediate changes. “The current situation is that Van Persie will continue in his position.”

Speculation suggests that if there were to be adjustments within the coaching staff, assistant coach René Hake could be at risk. It has been rumored that Hake has expressed critical views regarding Van Persie’s approach. Hugo Borst addressed this in Algemeen Dagblad, indicating that Hake, during a centenary celebration at Emmen, portrayed Van Persie as a poor communicator. “Robin surrounds himself with many experts, yet he seldom acts on their recommendations. We had heard similar accounts during his time at Heerenveen,” Borst remarked.
