Since Sunday, Dennis te Kloese’s phone has been inundated with calls, and regrettably, not due to transfer-related inquiries. Following Feyenoord’s 3-0 defeat against PSV, the club director has been frequently harassed and even threatened, as reported by the police on Tuesday evening.

According to the police investigation, Te Kloese has been subjected to numerous unpleasant messages via his mobile phone, primarily consisting of harsh insults. His contact information was disseminated online shortly after the loss to PSV, leading to a barrage of distressing calls. The police have since been engaged to address the situation.

While the threats are unjustifiable, they highlight a growing discontent among Feyenoord’s supporters regarding the current club management. There are rising concerns not only about the performance of the underachieving coach, Robin van Persie, but also about Te Kloese’s position. Internally, there is mounting pressure for a change in leadership. It’s noted that should Van Persie be dismissed, there are voices advocating for Te Kloese to refrain from appointing a new coach for the third time, given past inadequacies in this area, as reported by Algemeen Dagblad.
