Feyenoord’s Struggles Against PSV Highlight Tactical Shortcomings

Feyenoord encountered a disappointing performance this past weekend, suffering a 3-0 defeat against PSV in Eindhoven. Given the disparity in team dynamics, the outcome was somewhat expected, as noted by analyst Hans Kraaij Jr.

Kraaij criticized the return of St. Juste, labeling it as ‘terrible,’ and suggested that other players, including Hwang, Valente, Ueda, and Hadj Moussa, also fell short.

He emphasized that Robin van Persie should not bear the primary blame for the loss. “Regardless of the tactical approach they adopted, Feyenoord would have struggled against this PSV team. From the very first second, there was a lack of coverage,” he remarked in his column for Voetbal International.
