Dundee to Assess Dens Park Pitch Condition for Upcoming Match Against MotherwellDundee to Assess Dens Park Pitch Condition for Upcoming Match Against Motherwell

Dundee Football Club is set to evaluate the condition of their Dens Park pitch to determine if the Scottish Premiership match against Motherwell can proceed as scheduled on Wednesday evening.

In response to significant rainfall overnight in Angus, the club has coordinated a precautionary inspection with the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), which is scheduled to take place at 14:30 GMT.

A statement from Dundee indicated, “The update on the outcome will be issued as soon as it is available.”

In a similar context, Dundee faced challenges with the Dens Park pitch two seasons ago, leading to five breaches of SPFL regulations due to multiple postponements caused by waterlogging.

Currently, Dundee resides in the third-bottom position of the Premiership, while Motherwell is situated in fourth place.
