While the transfer window appeared tumultuous for PSV at first glance, the outcome was relatively uneventful. The major highlight was the extension of head coach Peter Bosz’s contract until mid-2028. However, no new players were brought in, and on the positive side, no key players departed the club either.

**Disappointment Over Alphadjo Cissè**

Although all key players remained with the team, the outcome of the transfer window may not feel entirely successful. PSV was very close to acquiring Cissè, who ultimately opted for AC Milan at the last moment. “PSV was very keen on signing him; he is truly an excellent player,” Boualin notes. “This has left everyone in Eindhoven feeling quite disheartened.”
