According to reports from Sport1, Bayern Munich is considering a move for Inter Milan defender Yan-Aurel Bisseck as a potential addition during the summer transfer window.

The Köln native has recently revitalized his position in Inter’s starting eleven after a challenging season, which had prompted speculation about a possible winter departure. However, Bisseck opted to remain at the San Siro.

At 25 years old, his improved performances have drawn the interest of Bayern and sporting director Max Eberl, who are looking to enhance their central defensive options behind Jonathan Tah, Dayot Upamecano, and Min-Jae Kim, the latter of whom may be on his way out.

The Bundesliga leaders are currently monitoring Bisseck’s situation but have not yet initiated any formal discussions.

With Upamecano expected to sign a contract extension with Bayern, the club’s needs for a center-back have evolved. Rather than pursuing established players like Nico Schlotterbeck, they are now searching for a young prospect who can grow into a role that will eventually succeed Tah, who is set to turn 30 this month.

Additionally, on-loan Hamburg defender Luka Vuskovic has emerged as a possible target, contingent on Tottenham’s willingness to sell.
