Mika Godts Linked to Major Clubs but No Formal Interest Confirmed

Mika Godts has recently been linked by various media outlets to a number of prominent football clubs.

In a podcast episode of Kick Off by De Telegraaf, journalist Mike Verweij provides an update based on his sources. He stated, “I checked with Ajax, and there has been no indication that those clubs have made contact. However, I do believe he is making a name for himself in Europe.”

Godts, who has not yet considered a transfer, previously mentioned in an interview with Algemeen Dagblad, “It’s not certain yet. That’s still quite far off.” This season, he has already scored ten goals and provided seven assists in nineteen appearances. “We’ll see where the tally ends. I knew that if I stayed fit, my statistics would improve. It’s challenging to maintain consistent performance when you are sidelined with injuries every couple of months.”

He feels confident both physically and mentally at this point in the season. “That’s where it all begins, I realize now. I am trying to hold onto this so I can demonstrate that I have truly made progress this season.”
