omidbasir- Ángel Torres, the president of Getafe, recently spoke to Movistar LaLiga regarding the current state of the club as they prepare for their upcoming match against Alavés. During the interview, he addressed the team’s reinforcements in January, his relationship with coach Bordalás, and the club’s position in LaLiga.

On the transfer market, Torres stated, “We have made a significant effort, as we have been dealing with six injuries for most of the season, three of which were long-term. It was essential to strengthen the team. We have had a successful transfer window, but we are still Getafe.”

Regarding the possibility of relegation, he expressed concern but noted, “Well, yes, there is worry, but if you look at the standings, the team in tenth place is Alavés, and they are only two points ahead of us. There are ten teams in a tight race, and we will see how things unfold; there is still a lot of season left.”

When asked about his relationship with the coach, Torres remarked, “On the contrary, there is no tension; each person has their own way of being, just like parents have different styles. The coach is doing a great job, and we need to support him. He now has 24 players registered, and we hope to recover the injured. I believe Borja Mayoral will be back in about 20 days.”
