Bernard Schuiteman Reflects on His Tenure at Feyenoord

Bernard Schuiteman currently serves as the technical director of RKC Waalwijk, having previously held a position at Feyenoord. In a recent conversation in De Maaskantine, Schuiteman looked back on his experiences in Rotterdam.

During the discussion, Schuiteman praised Dennis te Kloese, Mark Ruijl, and Robin van Persie for their contributions. He specifically addressed Te Kloese’s dual role as both general and technical director, stating, “For a top club like Feyenoord, I believe one should be 100% dedicated to that position. The responsibilities are immense. Your primary task is to establish a strong first team, but the workload truly begins after that. Therefore, I would recommend dividing these roles to allow for greater focus.”

Schuiteman expressed his support for Te Kloese’s performance, saying, “He is doing exceptionally well, and I am very pleased with this, as I am a fan of Feyenoord.”
