Injury Update Getafe s Mario Mart n Suffers Grade Two SprainInjury Update Getafe s Mario Mart n Suffers Grade Two Sprain

omidbasir- Getafe’s midfielder, Mario Martín, has been diagnosed with a grade two sprain following a medical examination conducted in recent hours. The player sustained the injury at Mendizorroza during a play where, despite committing a foul, he injured his ankle, forcing him to leave the field in tears.

Initially, the situation raised alarms; however, it has been confirmed that the injury will be a temporary setback. Martín, who is on loan from Real Madrid, is expected to be sidelined for approximately three to four weeks. This news comes as a relief, given concerns about a more severe injury affecting a key player in José Bordalás’ lineup this season.

After the match, the player underwent various medical tests, which confirmed the grade two sprain, necessitating a brief period away from team activities. Following the departure of Yvan Neyou, Bordalás faces a minor setback but will have Javi Muñoz and Adri Riquelme from the junior team available to fill the gap left by the absence of the important ‘6’ jersey player.
