From a young age, Tillman had a clear path, starting at Greuther Fürth in youth football before moving to Bayern Munich, where he even made appearances in the Champions League. “As a kid, you dream of playing in the Champions League,” he shared. “Scoring in such crucial games is incredibly fulfilling. In the moment, it might not hit me as strongly, but looking back, it feels amazing.”

The decisive goals came during a crucial match against Villarreal, securing a 3-0 victory and advancing his club to the next stage. The contrast between his two goals highlighted his versatility; the first demonstrated his determination, while the second showcased his finesse.

Leverkusen coach Kasper Hjulmand praised Tillman’s cleverness and intensity, indicating his growth in understanding the game. Just three days later, he scored again in a victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, reinforcing his role within the team.
