Nottingham Forest Set to Appoint Vitor Pereira as New ManagerNottingham Forest Set to Appoint Vitor Pereira as New Manager

omidbasir- Vitor Pereira, the former manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, has reached an agreement to take over as the new manager of Nottingham Forest, replacing Sean Dyche, as reported by ESPN.

Final terms between the two parties are still being finalized, but Pereira is poised to become Forest’s fourth managerial appointment this season.

Dyche was dismissed following a 0-0 draw with Wolves on Wednesday night, a result that left Nottingham Forest just three points above the Premier League relegation zone, sitting in 17th place.

Sources indicate that Pereira was the only candidate considered for the managerial role following Dyche’s exit.

Despite being sacked by Wolves in November, Pereira successfully helped the club avoid relegation last season, demonstrating his capability to navigate troubled waters.

Notably, Pereira’s prior working relationship with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis during his tenure at Olympiacos in 2015 may also play a significant role in his appointment.

If confirmed, this would mark a record fourth full-time managerial change for Nottingham Forest within a single Premier League season.

The club has faced considerable upheaval this year, with Nuno Espirito Santo being dismissed just three games into the season, despite leading them to the Europa League.

Ange Postecoglou followed but lasted only eight matches, totaling 39 days in charge.

Dyche’s tenure lasted 114 days, with his dismissal being announced shortly after midnight on Thursday.
