Vitor Pereira Set to Become Nottingham Forest s New Head CoachVitor Pereira Set to Become Nottingham Forest s New Head Coach

omidbasir- Nottingham Forest is on the verge of appointing Vitor Pereira, former manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as their new head coach.

The Premier League club recently parted ways with Sean Dyche after a goalless draw against the bottom-placed Wolves, leaving Forest three points above the relegation zone with only 12 matches remaining in the season.

According to reports from BBC Sport, discussions between Forest and Pereira have made significant progress, and an agreement appears imminent.

The 57-year-old has quickly become the top candidate to succeed Dyche, particularly due to his prior experience working with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis at the Greek club Olympiacos.

Pereira played a crucial role in ensuring Wolves’ Premier League survival last season after taking charge midway through the campaign. However, he was dismissed in November, with the club managing only two points from their first ten matches this season.

Should he accept the position, Pereira will be the fourth manager for Nottingham Forest this season, following Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, and Dyche.
