Former United player Wes Brown commented on the possibility, stating, “It would require a significant investment for Manchester United to re-sign him. Despite acknowledging the whispers surrounding a potential return, Brown expressed skepticism about its feasibility, praising McTominay’s development: “He has improved tremendously. He’s a great player, and I can understand the interest in him.”
