omidbasir- In the latest episode of the podcast “Kick Off,” Valentijn Driessen commented on the news that Raheem Sterling will finish the season with Feyenoord. The 31-year-old Englishman has signed a contract that will keep him in Rotterdam until next summer.

“This move will cost Feyenoord approximately 200,000 euros gross per match,” Driessen pointed out.

Despite being a free agent, Sterling’s signing is considered a significant financial investment. He commands a substantial salary and will also receive a considerable signing bonus. Reports suggest that the total cost could amount to around two million euros for up to eleven matches. “He will need to deliver,” Driessen remarked. “Two million for twelve matches is a hefty price, and considering he may not play this Sunday, the cost per game for Feyenoord could rise to around 200,000 euros.”

Feyenoord’s decision to recruit Raheem Sterling has taken the football world by surprise. The English forward became a free agent following his contract termination with Chelsea last month, allowing him to choose his next club. In a surprising turn of events, he chose to continue his career in the Netherlands, joining a team that has previously seen him play for top clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool.
