omidbasir- Jordi Cruijff, serving as the Technical Director of Ajax, is broadening the club’s focus beyond the Spanish market. According to FC Rijnmond, the Amsterdam club is even considering making moves in the domestic league, specifically targeting players from competition rival Sparta Rotterdam.

One player on Ajax’s radar is Marvin Young, a central defender at Sparta. Dennis Kranenburg discussed the future of Maurice Steijn, the current coach with an expiring contract, on a local talk show. He noted, “The outcome will depend on the perspective for the upcoming season at Sparta,” referencing other players such as Joshua Kitolano and Tobias Lauritsen, who also have contracts ending soon.

The most noteworthy aspect of Ajax’s interest is the high asking price for Young. The defender is under contract with Sparta until the summer of 2029, and his current market value is estimated at four million euros, a figure that PSV was unwilling to meet last summer, offering only three million.
