His determination to prove others wrong is evident. Moving abroad and stepping out of his comfort zone has greatly benefited him.”

Regarding the next steps for Summerville, Van de Looi believes he has reached an ‘impressive’ level. “The next milestone for him is to earn a call-up to the national team. We are experiencing a shortage of forwards, and Cry represents the fresh, young, exciting talent that we need. In the past, our country produced outstanding strikers. However, the focus has shifted to developing exceptional defenders.”
