Athletic Club Faces Key Absence Ahead of Oviedo Match

omidbasir- Ernesto Valverde will be without Nico Williams for Sunday’s match at Carlos Tartiere. The younger Williams sibling has been excluded from the squad due to ongoing pubic issues, making him the most notable absence for Athletic Club against Oviedo.

Nico had participated in the last four matches, starting in two and coming off the bench in the other two. Expectations were high for his appearance in Tartiere; however, the squad announcement from Athletic did not include the number 10.

On a positive note, both Yuri Berchiche and Oihan Sancet have made their returns and are included in the lineup. While they are likely to be available for selection, it appears they will start the match from the bench.

Dani Vivian will not be available for the encounter against the Asturian side. Despite training with the team throughout the week, he is not yet prepared for a return.
