This is an essential aspect that we need, and I believe more players are now reaching the required intensity levels every three days. Salah’s future at Liverpool was cast into uncertainty last November when he asserted that his relationship with Slot had deteriorated. In a candid interview following a 3-3 draw against Leeds, Salah expressed his disappointment: “I can’t believe it; I am very, very disappointed. I have contributed significantly to this club over the years, especially last season. Now, I find myself on the bench without understanding why. However, since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in January, Salah has started seven consecutive matches for Liverpool, indicating that any issues between him and Slot may have been resolved.

Despite this apparent reconciliation, reports suggest that Salah could still leave the club this summer. Foot Mercato has indicated that he is in discussions with Al-Ittihad regarding a much-anticipated move to Saudi Arabia, with optimism surrounding the possibility of an agreement.

Additionally, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has mentioned that Major League Soccer may also be an option for Salah. He stated, “Saudi Arabian clubs are expected to resume negotiations for Mohamed Salah in the upcoming summer transfer window. Al-Ittihad could be among them, particularly after having lost stars like Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, and they may seek a marquee signing.”

Romano added, “There could be more Saudi clubs interested in Salah, and we should also keep an eye on the MLS to see if any clubs decide to make a formal offer. It will be an intriguing summer for the Egyptian winger. In the end, no official proposals emerged, which is why Mohamed Salah remains at Liverpool as of now. However, the situation could change come summer.”

They sit in a disappointing sixth place in the Premier League but have made it to the last 16 of the Champions League.
