Injury Updates Positive News for Kalimuendo Concerns for KristensenInjury Updates Positive News for Kalimuendo Concerns for Kristensen

omidbasir- Following Saturday evening MRIs, Eintracht Frankfurt has provided updates on injured players Arnaud Kalimuendo and Rasmus Kristensen. In a surprising turn, there is positive news regarding striker Kalimuendo; however, the situation is less optimistic for the defensive unit following Kristensen’s assessment.

Eintracht’s statement indicated that the Danish fullback’s ankle injury necessitated “further examination.” However, Sport Bild reports that Kristensen may be facing a significant ligament injury, which could result in him being sidelined for several months, potentially affecting his availability for the remainder of the season.

The German tabloid suggests that the “further examinations” are part of Eintracht’s efforts to seek a second opinion on Kristensen’s condition. This comes on the heels of news that defender Arthur Theate is also expected to miss several months, prompting RheinMainAdler to hope to avoid losing yet another key player.

In contrast, a statement released by SGE on Sunday confirmed that Kalimuendo’s shoulder injury is not severe. “Examinations have shown that his shoulder injury is not serious,” the statement read, adding, “A long-term absence is not currently expected.”
