Betis Announces Squad for LaLiga Match Against Valencia

Following Saturday’s training session and prior to heading to the capital of Turia, Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini announced the list of 23 players called up for the upcoming match against Valencia in the 12th round of LaLiga EA Sports. Unfortunately, the team will be without four players for various reasons.

Pau López and Junior Firpo will remain in Seville to recover from injuries. Isco, who is partially training with the team, will not travel as he is not expected to return until after the international break. Additionally, Ricardo Rodríguez, despite being fit according to Pellegrini, will not participate as the coaching staff has decided not to risk him. The Swiss defender has important commitments with his national team starting on Monday.

All other squad members will travel to Valencia, including Fornals, who has been called up by Luis de la Fuente, and Germán, a goalkeeper from the youth team. Pellegrini prefers to take three goalkeepers for away matches. This encounter with Corberán’s team will be Betis’ last commitment before a two-week break, during which the manager hopes to recover some of the injured players in preparation for the final stretch of matches this year.
