Injury Updates Ahead of Match Against ElcheInjury Updates Ahead of Match Against Elche

omidbasir- Luka Sucic did not return to group training on Tuesday afternoon with Real Sociedad as the team resumed activities at Zubieta following a two-and-a-half-day break given by coach Pellegrino Matarazzo after Saturday’s match at the Santiago Bernabéu. Consequently, it seems unlikely that he will be available for the upcoming match against Elche on Saturday. In contrast, Aritz Elustondo and Carlos Soler were absent due to gastroenteritis, but both are expected to recover in time for the match.

Sucic was substituted due to a muscle injury just ten days ago during the match against Elche. Matarazzo expressed his desire to have him back in the squad soon, so his return remains to be seen.

The coach likely did not anticipate that, in addition to the Croatian player, Aritz and Carlos Soler would also miss the training session due to gastroenteritis. However, indications suggest they should be available for selection again by tomorrow.

Arsen Zakharyan has continued to train under Matarazzo’s guidance. Having been absent from competitive play for over a month, he appears to be nearing readiness for re-inclusion in the squad. Brais Méndez, on the other hand, will certainly be available for the match against Elche, having completed a two-match suspension due to an unjust red card received in the derby at San Mamés.
