Jesse Lingard Eyes Move to Brazil After Departure from FC SeoulJesse Lingard Eyes Move to Brazil After Departure from FC Seoul

omidbasir- Jesse Lingard is once again available for club selection after bidding a heartfelt farewell to FC Seoul. The former Manchester United player surprised many with his move to South Korea but ultimately enjoyed a rewarding experience during his nearly two-year tenure at the club. In a farewell post on social media, Lingard expressed his gratitude and fondness for his time there, stating, “My time in South Korea has been unbelievable – the football, the atmosphere, and the passion around this club have been top class. The love, support, and appreciation you have shown towards me for these last two years have been truly amazing. I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity to play for such a massive club.”

Since leaving FC Seoul, Lingard has been linked with various clubs, including those in Serie A, Feyenoord, and Wrexham. However, recent reports suggest he may be heading to Brazil instead. According to Globo, he has received an offer from Brazilian side Remo, with negotiations for a potential transfer currently underway. Remo, who secured promotion to Brazil’s top flight last season, has had a challenging start to the new campaign, currently sitting in 16th place after two draws and a loss. Should Lingard finalize the move, he would reunite with familiar faces in Brazil, including former Manchester United stars Memphis Depay at Corinthians and Andreas Pereira at Palmeiras.

Lingard’s career has included stints with several clubs, including Manchester United, West Ham, and Nottingham Forest. Although he has faced criticism throughout his career, he recently addressed this during an interview with Sky Sports, stating that he is no longer affected by negative opinions. “In life, in general, outside football, and inside football, there are always tough times mentally when you are not playing well and receiving criticism from fans. Sometimes you have to go through that and learn, and I have learned from all of that. I am now at a point where I don’t care what anyone says or thinks – at the end of the day, they are just words. I don’t listen to any negative comments,” he remarked.

He further added, “The majority of the feedback has been positive, and the people I have met since being in Manchester have been great. For me, I like to be a good guy, put smiles on people’s faces, and be the bubbly one. But when it’s time to work, I work. I think that’s been misconstrued over the years because people think I mess around a lot. Yes, I love to dance in the right place and at the right time, but when I am on the training pitch or game day, it’s 100% work mode.”

Lingard has not played competitively since leaving FC Seoul in December, but he has kept fans updated on his training regime through social media. If he completes his move to Remo, he will be eager to make his debut and embark on this exciting new chapter in his career.
