Family Criticism Shadows Hirving Lozano s Career 1Family Criticism Shadows Hirving Lozano s Career 1

omidbasir- Hirving Lozano is currently enduring public backlash from an unexpected source: his own family. His brother, Bryan Lozano, recently expressed concerns about Hirving’s conduct and professionalism during an interview with ESPN.

Bryan accused Lozano of fostering discord throughout his career, citing reported conflicts during his tenure at Napoli under coach Gennaro Gattuso, as well as earlier issues at PSV Eindhoven. “At Napoli, he encountered problems with Gattuso and the coaching staff. He had similar issues at PSV,” Bryan stated. “He’s rude and arrogant, and that leads nowhere. This behavior has influenced the fact that many people don’t really want him.”

These remarks come at a precarious moment for Lozano, who is reportedly no longer part of San Diego FC’s plans, despite being contracted through 2028. Bryan further noted that his brother’s attitude in Major League Soccer (MLS) has exacerbated his circumstances. “Even if he earns a lot in San Diego, it’s not worth having someone like him in the locker room,” Bryan explained. “Very few teams would take the risk of signing him, knowing his past.”

Additionally, Bryan mentioned that as Hirving’s profile has risen, he has grown increasingly distant from the family, becoming less approachable. He alluded to potential disciplinary issues with the Mexico national team, which could jeopardize Hirving’s standing ahead of the upcoming 2026 World Cup.

Hirving Lozano has yet to publicly comment on these allegations or on his uncertain status with San Diego FC. Just weeks prior, he indicated his desire to remain with the team and fulfill his contract, though head coach Mikey Varas later tempered those expectations, casting further doubt on his future with the club.
