Although Aalbers was a potential candidate for this role, he will not be making the move to Rotterdam.

Krabbendam highlights the precarious situation regarding Feyenoord’s contracted players: they currently have 43 players in total, which includes five goalkeepers, four right-backs, nine central defenders, two left-backs, eleven midfielders, eight wingers, and four forwards. Only three players have contracts expiring soon, with seven set to become free agents in the summer of 2027.
