Bayern Munich Prepares for Crucial Match Against Eintracht FrankfurtBayern Munich Prepares for Crucial Match Against Eintracht Frankfurt

omidbasir- Bayern Munich will host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena this Saturday afternoon. With Joshua Kimmich and Jonathan Tah each on four yellow cards, coach Vincent Kompany is likely to make pivotal changes ahead of this Bundesliga clash.

Currently at the top of the league, six points ahead of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern cannot afford a loss to Frankfurt. Under the management of Albert Riera, Frankfurt has remained unbeaten, bolstering their defense and enhancing their offensive efficiency.

A defeat for Bayern on Saturday, combined with a potential victory for Borussia Dortmund against RB Leipzig, could narrow the gap to just three points before their upcoming Matchday 24 Klassiker. Consequently, Kompany will need his strongest squad for the encounter with Dortmund, particularly given the suspension risk for Kimmich and Tah if they receive another yellow card.

If Kimmich, who recorded 21 turnovers—the highest of any player—against Werder Bremen last weekend, is sidelined, Kompany has two viable options for central positions: Leon Goretzka and Tom Bischof.

In terms of defense, Kompany has additional alternatives. Dayot Upamecano, who missed Bayern’s victory over Bremen, is expected to replace Tah in the starting lineup, while Hiroki Ito remains a potential option for central defense.
