omidbasir- Oliver Glasner joined Crystal Palace in 2024.

However, the future of the Austrian manager appears uncertain as the club grapples with a troubling run of form. Glasner has already declared his intention to leave the club at the conclusion of his current contract this summer.

During Thursday’s Europa Conference League match against Zrinjski Mostar, a segment of the Palace away support expressed their discontent by chanting “we want Glasner out” following a 1-1 draw.

Sources informed BBC Sport that the club is actively evaluating Glasner’s position after securing only one victory in their last 15 fixtures. This dismal performance includes a humiliating defeat to non-league Macclesfield in the FA Cup, which has seen the Eagles slip to just eight points above the relegation zone with 12 matches remaining.

While Palace managed to secure a win against rivals Brighton earlier this month, they have not triumphed in a home game since November.

Ahead of Sunday’s match against Wolves, Glasner stated, “I’m always realistic, and we’re not in the best moment right now. I understand, and I take responsibility for everything because I’m responsible for the whole team.

“Currently, I’m struggling to replace the players we sold effectively. I have not managed to integrate the new players in a manner that replicates our previous style of play, and I have not succeeded in coping with our demanding schedule.

“Conversely, I was able to guide the team through our best season ever, winning two trophies. We are experiencing a better Premier League season than eight of the last ten years and are competing in European football, and that is the reality.”

Glasner remains the most successful manager in the club’s history, having led Crystal Palace to victory in the FA Cup last season and the Community Shield.

Crystal Palace will face bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Sunday, followed by the second leg of their Conference League tie with Zrinjski Mostar on Thursday.
