Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, Polish striker Ewa Pajor, and Las Palmas midfielder Kirian Rodríguez are among the players set to be honored at the Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) Gala on Monday, November 10. Lamine Yamal and Ewa Pajor will be recognized as the best players of the previous season in their respective top divisions. Kirian Rodríguez will receive the Manuel Esteo Award for his inspirational journey and for representing the values that uplift the world of sport, especially after overcoming Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Ewa Pajor finished as the top scorer in Liga F with 25 goals, playing a key role in Barcelona’s league title. Lamine Yamal scored 18 goals across all competitions, including nine in LaLiga EA Sports, where he also celebrated a championship win. The AFE Gala will take place at the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid. During the event, the best footballers of the 2024–25 season across national categories will be honored, based on votes from their fellow players. Awards will also be presented to the goalkeepers with the fewest goals conceded. In addition to the Manuel Esteo Award, the ceremony will include the AFE Foundation Award (Sonrisas sin cáncer), the Sports Career Award (Pepe Reina), the Enrique Castro “Quini” Award (Gonzalo García, Real Madrid), and the Luis Miguel Arconada and Carmen Arce “Kubalita” Awards for the goalkeepers with the lowest concessions.
