Natan Becomes First Player with Suspension Warning in LaLiga for BetisNatan Becomes First Player with Suspension Warning in LaLiga for Betis

Real Betis defender Natan has become the first player in the squad to receive a suspension warning this season after accumulating four yellow cards in LaLiga. The Brazilian was booked for a foul on Thierry Correia during Betis’s 12th-round clash against Valencia at Mestalla.

The situation could become critical for Manuel Pellegrini’s side. After the international break, Betis will host Girona at La Cartuja, followed by the first Seville derby of the season at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. If Natan receives another yellow card against Girona, he will be suspended for the high-stakes derby against Sevilla FC, one of the most anticipated fixtures on the Betis calendar.

Behind Natan, Amrabat and Giovani Lo Celso each have three yellow cards, making them the next closest players at risk of suspension.

Meanwhile, in the UEFA Europa League, Ricardo Rodríguez, Cédric Bakambu, and Aitor Ruibal are also one booking away from suspension. Remarkably, Real Betis remains one of the few Spanish clubs without a single red card across all competitions so far this season — a testament to their discipline under Pellegrini.
