Valentijn Driessen advocates for Ajax to quickly part ways with Louis van Gaal and Marijn Beuker. According to the journalist, the duo has failed to deliver any value in their respective roles within the club. In his column for De Telegraaf, Driessen criticizes Van Gaal harshly, asserting that he should have prevented the appointment of John Heitinga as Ajax’s head coach. “Had Van Gaal been an effective advisor, he should have been able to avert the collapse from the outset. Despite his extensive knowledge and experience, Van Gaal endorsed Heitinga’s appointment in May, alongside Marcel Keizer as his assistant—a pairing destined to fail for numerous reasons.” Driessen also points out that Beuker adds no value to Ajax’s organization. “Like many others, Beuker has infiltrated the football world with a smooth demeanor but lacks any substantial background in elite football. He eagerly benefits from the almost limitless financial resources without contributing anything meaningful. He compromises his credibility in the media by referencing ideas and quotes from Johan Cruijff and Van Gaal in every interview, silencing the supporters of these football legends. While Beuker has amassed various data on assembling ideal teams and squads, it has been proven at Ajax that his theories are baseless.” Post navigation Arno Vermeulen’s Bold Suggestion for Dutch National Team AFCA Supporters Association Advocates for Ajax to Exit Stock Market
