The club, which had been aware of the situation for several months, as stated in the article, admits that it attempted to gather evidence during this period without success. With the release of the article, which includes corresponding audio recordings, the club is now prepared to take immediate action.

Although the club has not issued an official statement via a public communiqué, it has informed that both Valencia and LaLiga dispatched officials to investigate the matter upon learning of the allegations. However, no actionable behavior was recorded during their visits on multiple occasions. Now, with the newly revealed evidence, Valencia CF will initiate an expulsion case against the implicated fan, reaffirming its commitment to combatting reprehensible racist behavior.

It is important to note that the opening of this case does not result in immediate expulsion, as there are procedural steps that must be followed before any resolution is reached. Additionally, the legal route remains open, following a complaint filed by José Manuel Bort, a journalist from Levante, who has reported the incidents backed by several witnesses who are willing to testify, all of whom share the same seating area at Mestalla.
