Danny Buijs has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current situation at Fortuna Sittard following the announcement of Marcel Schuyt’s departure as general director. The coach is clearly unsettled by this recurring issue within the Limburg club.

Buijs finds it distressing that Fortuna Sittard must once again search for a new general director. He remarked, “This happens far too often at this club, and it negatively impacts our reputation,” during his appearance on the L1 talk show, Tafel Voetbal. He further commented on the timing of the announcement, stating, “What surprised me the most was that it came right after we secured a 2-0 victory against sc Heerenveen.”
