Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund is currently assessing the situation regarding Quinten Timber, a midfielder for Feyenoord.

During Feyenoord’s recent Europa League match against Stuttgart, scouts from Dortmund were present to evaluate the 24-year-old talent. However, as of now, there has been no contact between Timber, the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber, and the club known as die Schwarzgelben.

Bayer Leverkusen expressed interest in acquiring Timber during the summer but ultimately decided to pursue Equi Fernandez from Saudi Arabia instead.

Timber’s contract with Feyenoord is set to expire next summer, and he is reportedly open to a transfer after spending three years in Rotterdam.

In other club news, Sahil Özcan is expected to depart, either in the upcoming winter transfer window or during the summer. The 27-year-old midfielder’s future at Signal Iduna Park appears uncertain, with his former club, 1.FC Köln, linked to him.

Additionally, Julian Brandt has been presented with an offer for a contract extension from the club.
