Rafael van der Vaart has expressed strong reservations about the idea of hiring Paul Simonis. He believes it would be a significant mistake for Ajax to pursue Simonis, stating, “Go Ahead is such a well-structured club that you could essentially make anyone a coach there.” Van der Vaart made these comments during his appearance on Rondo, aired on Ziggo Sport.
