Former England footballer Raheem Sterling has experienced yet another break-in, this time at his luxurious residence in Berkshire.

On Saturday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m. GMT, while Sterling was at home with his family, intruders entered the property. According to reports from the Telegraph, the intruders were disturbed and fled the scene before taking any valuables.

Sterling’s representative issued a statement confirming the incident: “We can confirm that Raheem Sterling was the victim of a home break-in this weekend. We can also confirm that he and his children were present at home at the time. While this represents a profound violation of privacy and safety, we are grateful to report that he and his loved ones are safe. We kindly request that the privacy of Raheem and his family be respected during this challenging time.”

This is not the first time that Sterling has faced such an ordeal; his previous home in Surrey was targeted by burglars in 2022, compelling him to return home early from the England World Cup training camp. That incident occurred in Oxshott, Leatherhead, and was reported to the police on December 3, 2022, during the World Cup in Qatar. Sterling missed England’s 3-0 victory over Senegal as he traveled home to support his family after learning of the break-in, which resulted in the theft of jewellery and watches valued at approximately £300,000.
