Harry Kane, the 32-year-old striker for England and Bayern Munich, has emerged as Barcelona’s top target to succeed Robert Lewandowski, who is 37, in the upcoming summer transfer window. Reports suggest that Barcelona may activate a £57 million release clause in Kane’s contract with the German club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has identified Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, 21, as their primary target for the January transfer window.

In other news, former Tottenham forward Son Heung-min, now 33, has announced that he will not leave Los Angeles FC on loan following the conclusion of the Major League Soccer season.

Juventus is actively pursuing France goalkeeper Mike Maignan, whose contract with AC Milan expires this summer. The 30-year-old is also being considered by Chelsea.
