France and Brazil are set to compete in a friendly match at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on March 28, as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, according to a source from ESPN.

This encounter will serve as a rematch of the 1998 World Cup final, which France won. Following this match, Brazil will also play a second friendly against Croatia on March 31 in Orlando.

Both national federations have agreed to hold the match in the United States as part of their preparations for the World Cup. While Brazil has already secured its qualification, France is on the verge of clinching a spot, pending the outcome of their upcoming match against Ukraine.

Additionally, France is expected to play another friendly after the match against Brazil, with potential opponents including Mexico or the United States.

The friendly will feature numerous players from top European clubs facing off against each other. Notable matchups may include Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Eduardo Camavinga competing against their Real Madrid teammates Éder Militão, Vinícius Júnior, and Rodrygo. Arsenal players Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli, and William Saliba might also find themselves on opposing sides, while PSG stars Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and Bradley Barcola will likely go up against Marquinhos.
