Manchester United Pursues Karim Adeyemi Amidst Contract Negotiations

According to Sport Bild, Manchester United is intensifying its efforts to secure Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi. The German publication reports that the Premier League club has reached out to Adeyemi’s new agent, Jorge Mendes. Currently, Adeyemi is under contract with Dortmund until 2027.

While Adeyemi is engaged in negotiations with Dortmund regarding a new contract, he is seeking to include an exit clause in any potential agreement. However, it appears that Borussia Dortmund is resistant to this request, and Adeyemi’s relationship with head coach Niko Kovac has reportedly become strained.

Jorge Mendes, known for orchestrating high-profile transfers, could play a pivotal role as the January transfer window approaches, potentially facilitating Adeyemi’s exit from the Ruhrpott. Mendes already represents several players at Manchester United, including Leny Yoro and Manuel Ugarte.

At just 23 years old, Adeyemi is currently in impressive form. Germany’s Transfermarkt recently increased his estimated market value from €45 million to €60 million in their latest round of updates. Additionally, the Munich native has been recalled to the German national team.
