Lucas Beltrán, the Argentine forward who has joined Valencia on loan until the end of the season, has made a strong statement in the club’s official media, refuting the theory that players were conspiring against coach Corberán to instigate his dismissal. Several teammates, including Rioja and Copete, have previously defended the work of the coach from Cheste, but Beltrán’s comments were notably more direct.

“We are doing well, very united, and we have positive feelings following our match against Real Betis. We have a very good, healthy dressing room. We are all in this together. I am not one to pay much attention to social media or listen to rumors; I am aware that certain things are being said… but in the world of football, it often focuses on negativity or seeks out bad news. There is none of that here,” he stated when asked about the alleged poor atmosphere within the team.

“We come in every day happy and grateful to be here, giving our best to continue improving and to elevate Valencia CF to where it deserves to be, which is as high as possible. The notion that we want the coach to be dismissed is unfathomable. As a person and a player, I would never even consider doing something like that. But football is like that. We understand the game, but at Valencia, we do not give room for such narratives,” he added, aiming to dispel the rumors of a locker room against their coach.
